Melody Clemons brings more than 20 years of nursing experience to her role as Director of Nursing at Bear Creek Nursing Center. Her diverse clinical background includes long-term care, acute care, critical care, medical-surgical nursing, telemetry, behavioral health, and hospital admissions. She also has more than 14 years of nursing leadership experience, including serving as a Director of Nursing in skilled nursing and rehabilitation communities throughout Florida and as a traveling clinical leader supporting nursing teams and survey preparedness.
Melody began her healthcare career as a Certified Nursing Assistant before becoming a Licensed Practical Nurse and, later, a Registered Nurse. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from South University and has completed specialized training in critical care, telemetry, EKG interpretation, MDS coordination, advanced cardiac life support, and basic life support.
Throughout her career, Melody has remained committed to providing compassionate, resident-centered care while supporting and developing strong clinical teams. She takes pride in communicating effectively, remaining calm under pressure, and creating a nursing environment built on accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Melody considers it both a privilege and an honor to care for residents and their families during times when they need skilled support, understanding, and reassurance most.
