Laurie Johnson
Social Services Director
Brief info
Laurie Johnson brings more than 40 years of experience as a licensed social worker, including the past 25 years serving in leadership roles within long-term care.
Laurie is deeply passionate about supporting residents and families during times of transition. She views her primary role as helping individuals adjust to new circumstances, navigate challenges, and feel informed and supported throughout the process. A strong believer in open communication, Laurie welcomes residents and families to stop by her office, ask questions, or simply say hello.
Originally from Massachusetts, Laurie recently traded cold winters for the Florida sunshine and now lives in Spring Hill with her husband, Paul, and their two King Charles Cavaliers, Chauncey and Charley, who proudly run the household.
Outside of work, Laurie enjoys reading, spending time with family and friends, being active outdoors, and exploring opportunities to kayak and enjoy life near the water.
Laurie is very happy to be part of the Bear Creek team and looks forward to building meaningful relationships with residents, families, and team members.
