Adele, a native of the Philippines, graduated from Chong Hua Hospital School of Nursing in 1976. She completed her bachelor’s of nursing in 1981 and moved to the United States in 1998. She obtained licensure in Florida and worked in Jackson Hospital system for 10 years and then skilled nursing facility. Adele has had multiple roles within her nursing career including charge nurse, unit manager, wound care nurse, and assistant director of nursing.

Adele reports that she became a registered nurse because her dad wanted her to be a nurse because “it’s the most noble profession”. Adele has three children. A son and daughter that live in Philippines and one son that passed away. She is a proud grandmother to 5 grandchildren and is expecting her 6th grandchild later this year! Adele has assisted all five grandchildren that are in college/have graduated and all have very successful careers.
